Her internal medicine residency was at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, where she received the Sirridge Award for Outstanding Clinical Performance.
After residency she served as a Medical Director at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City and as an adjunct professor at UMKC, training resident physicians while keeping her own primary care practice.

How Dr. Spielberg practices medicine
Dr. Spielberg practiced for more than a decade in traditional health systems. At Precision Health, a deliberately small panel gives her visits long enough to cover the whole person: nutrition, sleep, hormone health, sexual wellness and performance.
Each member’s care follows the Precision Health Method:
Measure. Analyze. Optimize. Adapt.
- Measure: testing begins at your first appointment, including advanced labs such as ApoB and Lp(a), hormone panels, DEXA body composition, and CCTA when your history warrants it.
- Analyze: Dr. Spielberg reviews every result against your symptoms and your personal and family history.
- Optimize: within your first month, your results become the Precision Blueprint, a written, physician-directed plan, along with your Precision Score™.
- Adapt: your markers are re-measured every six months, and your plan changes when your numbers do.
Hormone health, perimenopause and menopause
Hormone care is a central part of Dr. Spielberg’s practice. She evaluates symptoms together with lab results and each woman’s health history, then walks through the benefits and risks of every option, including menopausal hormone therapy when it is appropriate.
In November 2026, Dr. Spielberg will present “Beyond Lipids: Using Coronary CT to Guide Menopause Care for Women” at the Southwest Florida Cardiovascular Imaging Symposium.

Obesity medicine
Her obesity medicine training shapes how she approaches weight: as a medical condition with measurable causes. Body composition and metabolic testing guide the plan, and prescription medication is part of it only when clinically appropriate, alongside nutrition and exercise.

Outside the practice
Dr. Spielberg competes in Hyrox and ultra-endurance events, and enjoys live music and traveling with her partner, Jeff.
She also keeps up with current research in optimization and performance medicine.
